Curtis Stinson, Jr., a 6-5 guard from Bronx, New York, becomes the tenth player in the Vikings incoming class. Stinson spent his freshman campaign at the University of North Texas under former Cleveland State head coach, Daniyal Robinson.
Stinson's lone season at UNT saw him play in 32 of 33 games, averaging 1.4 points in 8.8 minutes per game. He scored a season-high nine points against Science and Arts at home and had a season-best six rebounds against Temple.
Stinson graduated from Western Reserve Academy in Hudson after playing his first three seasons at Valley High School. In 2024, he was named the Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year, First Team All-State, and All-Tournament.
Stinson led Valley High School to back-to-back 2A State Championships and Western Reserve to the Ohio Prep Conference Semifinals. During his senior season, Stinson recorded two triple doubles and was voted First team All-Conference.
For his career, he scored 1,538 points, had 622 rebounds and 430 assists.
