Cleveland State University

The Official Website Of Cleveland State University Athletics

Cleveland State University is supportive of student-athletes in their pursuit of name, image, likeness (NIL) activities in accordance with applicable
NCAA and/or state or federal laws while continuing to further the mission of the Department of Athletics - to provide our student-athletes
a transformational experience; investing ourselves in their development as people, students and athletes.

LET'S GET STARTED!

Step One
Student-Athletes Must Create An Influencer Account. Influencer serves as Cleveland State's NIL disclosure/compliance software.
This portal will allow student-athletes to access NIL agreements for review by CSU.

Step Two
Report NIL activity via Influencer. Student-athletes must report NIL activity to the Compliance Office for approval at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to an agreement being signed or entered. Depending on the type of arrangement, student-athletes and the third parties must be willing
to provide any additional information regarding the arrangement deemed necessary by CSU.

Student-athletes must provide the following through the Influencer App or directly to the Compliance Office:
- Terms of the agreement
- Compensation amounts or value of any products or services to be received
- Parties to the agreement
- Type of endorsement, services or obligations to be provided
