Cleveland State Men's Basketball Inks Owen Bronston

Owen Bronston, a 6-6 forward from Fairfield, Ohio, becomes the ninth player in the Cleveland State incoming class. Bronston has played a season at each of Ohio Christian, Edison State, and SC State.

Bronston played in 24 games at Ohio Christian as a freshman, averaging 4.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game. He twice scored a season-best 12 points against MVNU and IU Kokomo.

Bronston then appeared in 27 games as a sophomore at Edison State, averaging 26.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per contest. Bronston scored in double-figures in each game, eclipsing the 20-point mark 23 times and the 30-point mark ten times. His season-best outing was 37 points. In addition, he had three double-doubles on the year.

As a junior for SC State, Bronston appeared in 27 contests with 17 starts, averaging 10.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. He recorded double figure points in 16 games with a season-best 18 points against Mid Atlantic Christian and North Carolina A&T.
