Jordan Lowery, a 6-1 guard from Denton, Texas, becomes the sixth player in the Cleveland State men's basketball incoming class. Lowery spent his freshman at UT Arlington.

Lowery was named to the WAC All-Freshman Team after averaging 4.6 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.2 in assists. The guard appeared in all 32 games with six starts, averaging 15.7 minutes per game. Lowery reached double figures six times with a season-best 16 at Tarleton State. His season-best for rebounds was six against Southern Utah and for assists was five against UTRGV.

Lowery was a four-star prospect by ESPN and a three-star prospect by 247Sports Composite. He ranked top-250 nationally by On3 and was the 27th ranked point guard nationally.

Lowery was named All-Area MVP by the Denton Record Chronicle after helping Guyer to its first state championship and District 5-6A title. In addition, he was named District 5-6A's Defensive MVP award, a TABC all-state nod and state all-tournament honors.
