Rayvon Griffith, a 6-8 forward from Cincinnati, Ohio, is the fifth addition to the Cleveland State men's basketball incoming class. Griffith spent this past season at Kent State after spending his first two years at Cincinnati.

Griffith played in 33 games with two starts in his lone season with the Golden Flashes, averaging four points and three rebounds in 13.9 minutes per game. His season-best output came against Penn St.-Shenango with 14 points and had a season-high 17 rebounds at Akron.

Griffith redshirted his first season at Cincinnati before playing in 19 games as a sophomore. On the year, he scored 44 points, had five assists, and pulled down 15 rebounds. Twice he scored a season-high eight points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and UCF.

Griffith originally attended Cincinnati's Taft High School before enrolling at Compass Prep in Chandler, Ariz., in the summer.

He was ranked as high as No. 54 nationally, including the nation's 11th-best small forward, by 247Sports. Led Taft to the Division III state title in Dayton as a junior, and AZ Compass Prep entered season atop MaxPrep's Independent School Basketball rankings. As a junior, he was rated the No. 10 shooting guard in the 2023 class and was a Division III First-Team All-State selection, averaging 19 points, six rebounds and two assists to help Taft to its second state title.
