Head coach Rob Summers announced the addition of Kevo St. Hilaire to the 2025-26 Cleveland State men’s basketball roster. St. Hilaire, a 6’10” forward from West Lafayette, Indiana, joins the team out of high school with four years of eligibility remaining.
 
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kevo St. Hilaire to the Viking family,” added Coach Summers. “Kevo brings incredible size and length to our team. But beyond the physical tools, what stands out most is his character — he’s humble, coachable, and hungry to grow. His potential is sky-high, and we believe Cleveland State is the perfect place for him to develop.”
 
St. Hilaire comes to Cleveland after a successful two-year run at West Lafayette High School. St. Hilaire was named to the Journal and Courrier Honorable Mention Team in each of his two seasons of varsity competition. He averaged 10.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and shot 60 percent from the field in his senior season.
 
St. Hilaire established himself as a shot blocker and rebounder as he averaged over two blocks per game as well as two offensive rebounds per game in his senior season. He helped lead West Lafayette to the 2024 IHSAA Class 3A Sectional championship in 2024-25. St. Hilaire played his AAU basketball for Indiana Ice under head coach Isaac Lochele.
 
Upon announcing his commitment St. Hilaire said, “I committed to Cleveland State because I feel valued, and I know that it’s the right place for me to develop on and off the court.  The culture that the coaching staff is creating is something special, and I’m dedicated to giving it my all for this program!”
