The Vikings head out for the first time in a month as the Green and White play their first road NEC game of the year at VMI on Saturday, March 28.

Robbie Stewart for a third time this season received NEC Prime Performer honors after going 15-of-20 in the faceoff circle with seven ground balls against Robert Morris.
 
Last Game Out
Cleveland State concluded its three-game homestand with an 11-6 loss to Robert Morris, snapping its three-game winning streak. With the game knotted at two-apiece heading into the second quarter, the Colonials rattled off five unanswered goals to 7-2 at halftime.
 
The Vikings ran off three consecutive goals to start the third, but RMU got a goal back with 41 seconds left to keep it 8-5 heading into the fourth. The visitors outscored CSU 3-1 in the final frame to win 11-6.
 
Stewart went 15-of-20 in the faceoff circle with a game-best seven ground balls. Seth Alejandrino finished tied for a game-best three caused turnovers. Oliver Vanyo took his first loss in the cage despite making 13 saves.
 
About the Keydets
The game on Saturday is the first home conference game of the year for VMI, as the Keydets are 4-4 overall and 1-1 in the NEC. The squad is coming off a 19-13 victory over Mercyhurst on Saturday. Dayton Bagwell paces the attack with 30 goals and a team-best 34 points. Beau Durkin has dished out a team-high 14 assists.
 
Jack Rogers is 122-of-223 in the faceoff circle with 51 ground balls. Alex Seaton has forced nine turnovers. Adam Norris has started every game in the cage, registering 89 saves.
 
Series History
This will be the sixth meeting between these two teams with the Green and White holding a 4-1 advantage. The Keydets picked up their first win last year in Cleveland, 11-9.
