CLEVELAND, Ohio – After leading Cleveland State to a 14-6 victory over Mercyhurst in the NEC opener,
Seth Alejandrino was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Week.
Alejandrino played a key role in a strong defensive effort for the Vikings on Saturday, setting both a career and season-best six caused turnovers, which also tied the single-game school record. The sophomore also picked up six ground balls. The Centerville, Ohio, product currently sits tied for second in the conference with 14 caused turnovers.
