Zoeckler Named To WBCA Thirty Under 30 List
ATLANTA, Ga. – For the second time over the last three seasons, Cleveland State women's basketball assistant coach
Shelby Zoeckler has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA)
Thirty Under 30 List.

Zoeckler, who is one of 32 honorees on this year's list, also picked up the honor during the 2023-24 campaign.

On the court, Zoeckler helps with all facets of the program, including opponent scouting and spearheading the team's recruiting efforts. This season, Zoeckler has helped the Vikings to a 25-win campaign and the team's sixth straight postseason appearance.

During Zoeckler's time with the Vikings, she has been part of six 20-win seasons, the team's first-ever postseason title at the 2021 WBI, the program's lone Horizon League Regular Season championship in 2024 and the team's #HLWBB Tournament title win in 2023.

In a decade with the Cleveland State women's basketball program, Zoeckler has spent time in various roles, serving as a student assistant, graduate assistant, director of operations, and assistant coach. Zoeckler is also a graduate of Cleveland State University, holding an undergraduate and graduate degree.

Off the court, Zoeckler is an active member of the WBCA, participating in the Coach-To-Coach Mentoring program, while also helping the CSU staff present at numerous Final Fours.

The WBCA Thirty Under 30 program was created to recognize up-and-coming women's basketball coaches aged 30 and under at all levels of the game. Each honoree exemplifies involvement in community service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner and attitude, and professional association involvement.
