Cleveland State Women’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-League Schedule

CLEVELAND, Ohio – First-year Cleveland State women's basketball head coach Bob Dunn announced the 2026-27 non-league schedule Friday, featuring a 12-game slate, including the annual Viking Invitational.
 
Cleveland State will open its first season under Dunn with four straight road contests, with the 2026-27 season opener set for Monday, November 2 at Penn State. This will be followed by a trio of contests at Bowling Green (November 5), Drake (November 10) and Xavier (November 16).
 
The Vikings will open their five-game non-league home slate on Saturday, November 21, welcoming Kent State to the Wolstein Center.
 
Next up will be the annual Viking Invitational, which will feature four teams with four games throughout Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25. During their home tournament, Cleveland State will take on Georgia Southern (November 24) and Lindenwood (November 25).
 
Cleveland State will then host Mercyhurst on Friday, December 11, before returning to the road to face Akron (December 14).
 
All games during the Viking Invitational along with the Mercyhurst contest will be played inside Woodling Gymnasium.
 
For the third straight season the Vikings will travel south to Puerto Rico for a two-game series before the holidays, taking on Chicago State (December 19) and Eastern Washington (December 20).
 
Cleveland State will close out its non-league slate by hosting Defiance on Monday, December 28.
 
Season tickets for the 2026-27 campaign are on sale now, with courtside seats set at $125 and general admission tickets set at $75. Fans can purchase ONLINE or by calling the CSU Ticket Office at (216) 687-4848.
