CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team announced its 2026-27 Horizon League schedule Thursday, featuring a 20-game #HLWBB slate.
With the new 12-member Horizon League, the Vikings will play all teams twice throughout the 2026-27 season with the exception of Northern Kentucky and Purdue Fort Wayne, which they will play only once this year.
Cleveland State will open this year's league schedule with a pair of games at home in early December, hosting Northern Kentucky on Thursday, December 3 and #HLWBB newcomer Northern Illinois on Sunday, December 6.
The Vikings will then return to league play in late December, opening a three-game roadswing at Green Bay on New Year's Eve. Cleveland State will also travel to Milwaukee (January 2) and Purdue Fort Wayne (January 7) during this stretch.
Cleveland State will play at home for four of its next seven games then, hosting Detroit Mercy (January 10), Youngstown State (January 16), Milwaukee (January 28), and Wright State (January 31) throughout the month of January. In addition, the Vikings will travel to Oakland (January 13), IU Indy (January 21) and Northern Illinois (January 24) during the month.
Next up Cleveland State will travel to RMU (February 3) to begin the month February, before hosting Oakland (February 6) and Green Bay (February 9).
The Vikings will then hit the road for another three-game roadswing, traveling to Youngstown State (February 13), Wright State (February 17) and Detroit Mercy (February 20), before ending the regular season with a pair of home games against RMU (February 25) and IU Indy (February 27).
