CLEVELAND, Ohio - For the sixth straight season the Cleveland State women's basketball team will be making a postseason appearance, as the Vikings have been selected for the 2026 WNIT field.
 
Cleveland State is one of 48 teams in the WNIT field this year, and earned a bye into the second round. The Vikings will face the winner of Monmouth/Lehigh in a second round matchup, with date, location and time to be released. 
 
The Vikings enter WNIT play with a 24-9 record on the year, most recently advancing to the semifinals of the Horizon League tournament.
 
This will be the third time that Cleveland State is making an appearance in the WNIT, also earning a spot in the field during the 2014-15 campaign and advancing to the Fab 4 during last season's WNIT tournament.
