SETTING THE SCENE
The Cleveland State women's basketball team will return to the road for a single game this weekend, traveling to Robert Morris on Saturday, February 14. Entering Saturday's contest, the Vikings are 19-8 on the year and 9-7 in Horizon League play, while the Colonials are 16-9 overall and own a matching 9-7 record in league action.

THE CLEVELAND STATE/ROBERT MORRIS SERIES
Saturday's game will mark the 16th meeting between the two teams, with Cleveland State holding a 10-5 edge in the all-time series. As Horizon League opponents, Cleveland State owns an 8-2 record against the Colonials, includuing seven straight entering Saturday's contest. Earlier this year, the Vikings picked up a 68-61 victory in Cleveland.
 
SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
Robert Morris enters Saturday's contest with a 16-9 record on the year, including a 9-7 mark in Horizon League play…The Colonials are currently tied for fifth place in the #HLWBB standings with the Vikings, and will play two of their final four games at home…When playing at home this season, RMU owns a 9-3 record, picking up a 71-64 overtime win against Milwaukee last time they played at home…Most recently, the Colonials dropped a 69-62 decision at Youngstown State, and have lost three out of their last five games…RMU leads the league averaging 39.0 rebounds per game, while the Colonials also have a league-best .780 free throw percentage…Individually, Aislin Malcolm has a league-best .843 free throw clip, while Eva Levingston ranks eighth in rebounding (6.2).
 
ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Saturday's game at RMU will be the 13th road contest of the season for the Vikings, and the first of two over the final four games of the 2025-26 regular season. Cleveland State will split its time at home and on the road during the final stretch of the regular season, playing two games at home and two on the road.
                                
…TRACKING A 20-WIN CAMPAIGN
Entering Saturday's game against Robert Morris the Vikings are just one win shy of recording a 20-win campaign - which would be the fifth straight 20-win season and sixth over the last seven years. One more win would make Cleveland State the second #HLWBB team to reach the 20-win plateau this season, while it would be the first time in program history that the Vikings have recorded five consecutive 20-win campaigns.
 
ZINGARO EXTENDS DOUBLE-DOUBLE STREAK TO FIVE
Last time out, Izabella Zingaro recorded her fifth straight double-double – and seventh overall this season – notching 23 points and 11 rebounds against Green Bay. Zingaro, who leads the Vikings averaging 16.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, has been averaging 20.2 points and 11.8 rebounds per game over the last five contests. Zingaro is one of just two Horizon League players with seven or more double-doubles on the year, while she is the only one to rank in the top-five in scoring (2nd-16.3) and rebounding (4th-7.2).
 
MAPLES NOTCHES BACK-TO-BACK 20-POINT GAMES
For the eighth time this season, and 19th time during her Cleveland State career, Colbi Maples recorded a 20-point effort last time out, finishing with 26 points against Green Bay for her second straight 20-point performance. Maples, who has recorded 20 or more points in four of the last five games, is averaging 15.0 points per game on the season. Maples currently ranks third among league players in scoring, while her 374 total points on the year makes her one of just four #HLWBB players with 370+ points.
 
FEGAN MAKES IT THREE WITH 20-POINT EFFORTS
Macey Fegan also eclipsed the 20-point mark against Green Bay last time out, finishing with a career-high 21 points in the win. Fegan, who was 9-for-11 from the field on the night, tallied her second straight 15+ point game and seventh of the season. Fegan also recorded seven rebounds, four assists and two steals on the night, as she ranks second on the team in both rebounding (5.7) and assists (2.7) this year.
 
LEONARD TOP-10 NATIONALLY IN STEALS
After 27 games played this season, Jada Leonard continues to lead the Horizon League and rank 13th nationally with 79 steals on the year. Leonard, who has recorded at least one takeaway in all but one game this season, is averaging 2.9 steals per game. Leonard's 79 steals on the year makes her the only Horizon League player with 70+ takeaways during the 2025-26 campaign, while she is one of just 18 Division I players with 75 total steals.
 
…ZINGARO AMONG NATION'S BEST IN FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE
Entering Saturday's game, Izabella Zingaro ranks 15th among Division I players with a .592 field goal percentage on the year. Zingaro, who has been perfect from the field twice this season, leads all league players in the category while also ranking fifth in the #HLWBB standings with a .805 free throw percentage.
 
VIKINGS FROM THE FREE THROW LINE
So far this season, the Vikings rank 11th nationally averaging 16.41 free throws made per game. For the year, Cleveland State has converted 443 free throws, leading all Horizon League teams. Individually, Izabella Zingaro is 140-for-174 from the charity stripe, while Jada Leonard is 85-for-102. For the year, Cleveland State has recorded 20+ free throws nine times, including a 21-for-23 performance against Green Bay last time out.
 
…CLEVELAND STATE ON THE BOARDS
So far this season the Vikings have held a major advantage on the boards, outrebounding their opponents 1,001-865. Cleveland State has combined for 40+ rebounds 10 times. As a team, the Vikings are averaging 37.1 rebounds per game, while Izabella Zingaro (4th-7.2) and Macey Fegan (10th-5.7) both rank in the top-10 individually among league players.
 
HEAD COACH CHRIS KIELSMEIER
The Vikings will be under the direction of eighth-year head coach Chris Kielsmeier, who owns a career head coaching record of 587-194. At Cleveland State, Kielsmeier owns a record of 171-78, with his 150th victory as a Viking coming in a 92-61 decision over Detroit Mercy last season. Under his guidance, Cleveland State has posted five 20-win seasons, including a program-record 30 wins during the 2023-24 campaign.
