CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State fencing teams will be in action for their final tune-up of the 2025-26 campaign this weekend, taking part in the Schiller Duals hosted by Northwestern on Sunday, February 1.

Sunday's meet will mark the final competition for the Vikings before the 2026 CCFC Championship, which will be held February 21-22 in Granville, Ohio.
Heading into this weekend's contest,
Rayllen Prafil Capaccio leads the women's side with 30 wins, while
Anna Klimenko has tallied 27 – both competing in epee - and
Anna Quinn has 25 in foil. For the men,
Marcus Strugar has a team-best 23 wins in foil, while
Nolan Giovagnoli (epee),
Jamison Horne (saber) and
Simon Caisse (saber) all have 16 wins on the year.
Cleveland State will be one of 15 teams competing on Sunday, with the field including all seven members of the CCFC.
Competition will take place at the Ryan Fieldhouse on the Northwestern campus, with first round action set to begin at 9:00 a.m. (EST).
