NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Cleveland State fencing team returned to action Saturday, participating at the DeCicco Duals hosted by Notre Dame.
On the men's side, the Vikings picked up wins against Detroit Mercy, Northwestern and Florida, with the sabre and epee teams both going 3-2 on the day.
For the women, the Vikings earned wins over Detroit Mercy and Florida, as the epee team went 3-1 on the day.
Individually,
Jamison Horne and
Simon Caisse both picked up a team-best 11 wins on the day to lead the men, while
Anna Klimenko,
Rayllen Prafil Capaccio and
Anna Quinn all posted six wins for the women.
Cleveland State's final tune-up before the CCFC Championship will be the Schiller Duals hosted by Northwestern on Sunday, February 1.
