CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State fencing teams will be back in action this weekend at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Sunday, March 8. This year's regional will be hosted on the Cleveland State campus inside the Wolstein Center.
Action at the Midwest Regional will begin with the women's competition at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, immediately followed by the men's competition. Admission is free for all fans, while fans can also follow along with
LIVE SCORING.
Cleveland State qualified 13 student-athletes for this year's regional, including all six women's competitors.

Marcus Strugar has 33 bout wins, while
Jamison Horne (29),
Simon Caisse (26) and
Nolan Giovagnoli (23) are close behind.
Earlier this week, a trio of Vikings were honored by the CCFC, picking up Honorable Mention All-Conference accolades;

This weekend's regional will be the first competition for the Vikings since they were last in action at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championships, where the men's team finished third overall, including the men's foil team placing third in their weapon and men's saber tying for third in their respective standings.
