CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State earned the programs first two weekly accolades in the NEC as
Justin Dalum was named Defensive Player of the Week and
Creed McDonald received Rookie of the Week honors.
Dalum, a junior from Delano, Minn., earned his first-ever weekly honor. In the conference opening win at Wagner on Saturday, Dalum made ten saves. The double-digit save performance was his sixth of the year and seventh of his career. On the year, Dalum is 3-5 in the cage with 91 saves.
McDonald, a freshman from Springboro, Ohio, received his first career recognition. In the game versus the Seahawks, McDonald registered his first-ever hat-trick, raising his season total for goals to four.
