INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced its 2024 Fall Academic Honor Roll Thursday, with 125 Cleveland State student-athletes earning a spot on the list.
COMPLETE HORIZON LEAGUE RELEASE
Cross country/track & field led the way for the Vikings, placing 18 student-athletes on the Horizon League Honor Roll, while women's soccer and women's swim & dive each placed 17 student-athletes on their respective honor roll teams.
Cleveland State led the way among Horizon League teams in men's golf (7) and volleyball (10).
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify: 1) participation in at least one of the league's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season; 2) completion of three semesters as a full-time student at the member institution; 3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20.
In addition, a total of 71 student-athletes from Cleveland State's non-Horizon League sports met this criteria: lacrosse – 30, wrestling – 19, esports – 15, men's fencing – 5, women's fencing – 2.
