INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced its 2025 Fall Academic Honor Roll Friday, with 95 Cleveland State student-athletes earning a spot on the list.
Cross country/track & field led the way for the Vikings, placing 19 student-athletes on the Horizon League Honor Roll, while women's swim & dive had 18 honorees and women's soccer put 15 student-athletes on their respective honor roll team.
The 18 honorees from women's swim & dive were tied for the most among all league teams in that respective sport.
Candidates for the Horizon League Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify: 1) participate in at least one of the league's 19 sports during the most recent (or current season); 2) completion of three semesters as a full-time student at the member institution; 3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20.
In addition, a total of 27 student-athletes from Cleveland State's non-Horizon League sports met this criteria: lacrosse – 21, men's fencing – 3, women's fencing – 3.
