WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team opened play at the Wake Forest Invite Friday, picking up three singles wins and two doubles wins.
Cleveland State's singles wins on Friday came from
Maxime Aremon,
Devin Boyer and
Nico Jamison. Aremon picked up a 6-2, 6-1 victory over UNCG's John Gabelic, while Boyer posted a 6-4, 6-4 win over Dung Dao of Tennessee Tech and Jamison earned a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win over John Rado of Furman.
In doubles,
Nico Jamison/
Lincoln Battle picked up a 6-1 win over Georgia Southern, while
Carl Gedlitschka/
Maxime Aremon earned a 6-4 win over a Furman duo.
Action at the Wake Forest Invite will continue tomorrow with one round of doubles and two rounds of singles.
