INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team swept the final Horizon League weekly awards of the 2026 campaign, as
Lincoln Battle was named the Singles Player of the Week and
Maxime Aremon/
Tristan Stine were named the Doubles Team of the Week.
Last time out, this trio helped the Vikings pick up a 5-2 victory at Youngstown State in the regular season finale.
At the top of the singles lineup, Battle picked up a 5-0, ret. victory, finishing regular season play with a perfect 6-0 record against Horizon League opponents. For the season, Battle owns a team-best 22 wins, including a 15-4 record at No. 1 singles this spring.
In doubles, Aremon and Stine posted a 6-2 win at the No. 2 spot against YSU, and now have 10 wins this spring. For the season, Aremon and Stine are one of two doubles teams with double-digit wins, sitting at 13-7.
