GREEN BAY, Wis. - Kailey Klein scored a game-high 26 points, but Green Bay had four players in double figures and remained perfect in Horizon League play with a 69-54 win over Cleveland State in the Kress Events Center on Saturday afternoon.

CSU, which lost for just the second time in the last eight games, slipped to 13-10 overall and 7-4 in the Horizon League.

Green Bay improved to 19-3 overall and 11-0 in league play.

Klein hit 8-of-13 from the field, including an impressive 5-of-6 from three-point in playing all 40 minutes.

Jessica Roque scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds, while Dominique Butler had eight points, six rebounds and four steals.

Klein got the Vikings off to a quick start, scoring the first five points less than one minute into the contest to give CSU a quick lead.

However, Green Bay responded by scoring the next 12 points until back-to-back baskets by Jessica Roque, including a three-pointer, brought the Vikings back within 12-10 at the 12:12 mark of the half.

But the Phoenix responded with a 12-1 run of their own, capped on a Kati Harty layup with 6:35 to play in the half to give UWGB a 24-11 lead.

The Vikings did manage to cut their deficit to seven points on a Butler layup with 1:16 left in the half, but Heather Golden nailed a three-pointer with 13 seconds left, pushing the Phoenix lead back to double digits (34-24) at halftime.

A 13-3 run to start the second half extended the Phoenix lead to 20 points (49-29) and the Vikings could get no closer than 13 points the rest of the afternoon.

CSU shot just .340 (16-47) from the field, hitting eight shots in each half. The Vikings did go 6-of-15 (.400) from three-point and made 16-of-20 (.800) free throws, including a 2-for-2 effort from Jessica Roque to extend her streak of consecutive free throws made to 20.

UWGB hit 20-of-52 (.385) from the field and 8-of-26 (.308) from three-point, while also going 21-of-26 (.808) from the charity stripe.

Porath led the Phoenix with 18 points and six rebounds, while Celeste Hoewisch (15), Lavesa Glover (13) and Harty (11) also reached double figures. Erin Templin grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds as Green Bay held a 40-28 advantage on the boards.

The Vikings committed 23 turnovers, breaking their string of consecutive games with 17 turnovers or less at six.

The Vikings will return to action a week from Saturday, when CSU hosts Youngstown State beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Wolstein Center on Saturday, Feb. 14.
