CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State golf team will be back in action this weekend, participating in the 2026 Horizon League Championship. This year's championship will once again be hosted at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, and will run Saturday, April 25 through Monday, April 27.

The men's golf championship will take place on the El Campeon course, and will feature 54 holes over the three-day tournament. For the first 18 holes on Saturday the men will have the early tee times starting at 7:30 a.m., while the men will have the afternoon tee times on Sunday and Monday beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Heading into the weekend, the Vikings are seeded third among the Horizon League teams, behind Wright State and Oakland.

Throughout the spring season the Vikings have posted a trio of top-10 team finishes, while they have had six top-30 individual finishes, paced by Brody Simms who notched a T-3 finish last time out.

At last year's #HLGolf Championship – in which the Vikings finished as runner-up – Simms and Dillon Pendergast both recorded top-20 finishes, while Ryan Dinan tallied a top-50 finish. In addition to this trio, the Viking lineup will also feature Dominik Cosic and Trace Gibson.
