Following the Vikings 13-10 win over Le Moyne to clinch its first-ever NEC Tournament appearance, Landon Whalen was named the NEC Player & Freshman of the Week.

Whalen had his best collegiate game yet, leading the contest in points (6), goals (4), and assists (2). He also picked up a career-high three ground balls.

The Hillard, Ohio, native has 15 goals and eight assists on the year for 23 points.

Whalen and Cleveland State concludes the regular-season on Saturday, April 25 at LIU.
