Robbie Stewart was named to the NEC Weekly Honor Roll after going 15-of-21 in the faceoff circle with eight ground balls against Bellarmine. This was the fourth honor for Stewart.

Last Game Out
Cleveland State dropped a 10-7 game at Bellarmine on Saturday afternoon. The Knights scored the first three goals before
Adam Van Voorhis scored the next to trail 3-2 heading into the second.

Creed McDonald sandwiched a pair of Bellarmine goals to even the score at halftime, 4-4. McDonald completed the hat-trick just two minutes into the third, and then
Alex Long struck to make it 6-4. After trading goals, Bellarmine tallied the final five goals of the game to win, 10-7.

Van Voorhis finished tied for a game-best five points on two goals and three assists.
Robbie Stewart went 15-of-21 in the faceoff circle and picked up a game-best eight ground balls.
Griffin Valli caused a game-high four turnovers.

About Marquette
The Golden Eagles are 0-2 after opening with a pair of top 20 teams in No. 20 Michigan (14-7) and No. 6/7 Notre Dame (16-11). Carsen Brandt was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after putting up four points on three goals and one assist against the Fighting Irish.

Brandt leads the attack with five goals, while Matt Caputo has a team-best three assists. Chandler Caster is 14-of-26 in the faceoff circle with eleven ground balls. Lucas Lawas has accumulated 26 saves.

This will be the fifth meeting between these two teams, with Marquette holding a 3-1 advantage. The only meeting in Cleveland came in 2020, with the Golden Eagles winning 11-10 in overtime. Last season, the Green and White fell on the road, 15-7.
