Vayda Delventhal has been named one of the Horizon League Players of the Week. This marks the first weekly honor for Delventhal, while it also marks the first weekly accolade for Cleveland State this season.
During the three-day Wolfpack Invitational, Delventhal combined for 56 total digs, including a pair of 20-dig performances against Coastal Carolina and Duke.
Delventhal opened the weekend with a career-high 24 digs against Coastal Carolina, and then recorded 12 digs against NC State, before closing out the tournament with 20 digs against Duke.
So far this season, Delventhal has recorded double-digit digs in all nine matches, and is leading the Horizon League averaging 4.90 digs per set on the year.
