RALEIGH, N.C. – The Cleveland State volleyball team continued play at the Wolfpack Invitational Saturday, dropping a three-set match against host NC State.
Cleveland State will close out play at the three-day tournament tomorrow, facing Duke at 1:00 p.m.
Byrn VanVleet and
Laken Voss once again paced the Viking offense, VanVleet with nine kills and Voss with seven kills on the night, while
Isabella Gibbons finished with 18 assists.
The Cleveland State defense was led by libero
Vayda Delventhal with 12 digs, while Voss and
Madisyn Green both finished with 10 digs on the match.
Tomorrow's match against Duke will mark the sixth road match of the season for the Vikings, and will conclude the final pre-season tournament for Cleveland State.
