CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team closed out play at the CSU Invitational Saturday, dropping a three-set match against ETSU.
The Vikings were wrapping up their first homestand of the 2025 campaign, and will return to Woodling Gymnasium on Thursday, September 18 when they host Kent State.
Laken Voss led the Viking offense with 11 kills, while
JeriLynn Koehler added four.
Isabella Gibbons finished with 22 assists and 10 digs on the day for her first double-double of the season.
Along with Gibbons,
Vayda Delventhal also finished with double-digit digs, posting a team-best 14 on the day.
As a team, the Vikings combined for eight service aces on the day, including two each from Koehler,
Reilly Wadden and Gibbons.
Cleveland State will continue non-league play at the NC State Tournament next weekend, taking on Coastal Carolina, NC State and Duke throughout the three-day tournament.
