Opening Whistle
The Vikings open Horizon League play with a trip to Milwaukee on Saturday, September 13, at 6 p.m. Cleveland State seeks its second straight and sixth #HLMSOC tournament appearance under coach Ubiparipovic.

Last Game Out
The Green and White secured its second home draw of the year this past weekend against Canisius, 2-2. The Vikings couldn't have asked for a better start, striking in the second minute. Uzman Ramees played a perfect cross that was headed on by Matteo Correia and then headed into the back of the net by Peleg Armendariz.
 
Correia doubled the margin in the 18th minute with his second goal of the year off a perfect through ball from Jacob Deever. The Griffs got on the board with 25 seconds left in the first half and equalized just three minutes into the second half.
 
Team Leaders
Mateo Correia leads the Vikings with two goals, while four players have an assist each. Ryan Poling has played every minute in goal, accumulating ten saves.
 
About Milwaukee
The Panthers are unbeaten in their last 12 home games, dating back to last season, and are coming off a 9-1 victory against Chicago State on Tuesday evening. The win over Chicago State was the first of the season, which puts them at 1-2-2 overall.
 
Fernando Pirry bagged four goals in the previous game, giving him the team lead, while Dominic Zuniga has three goals and a team-best three assists for nine points. Nic Diana has started every game in goal before the last game out and has 19 saves on the year.

This will be the 56th meeting between these two teams, with Milwaukee holding a 28-21-6 edge in those contests. The Panthers shutout the Green and White at home last season 1-0, snapping a seven-game unbeaten streak of the Vikings.
