INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State freshman Daniel Ceslo was named the Horizon League Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week. This is the second straight week a Viking has claimed an award and the first of Ceslo's career.
Ceslo led the Vikings to their second Horizon League Regular Season Championship after defeating IU Indy, 2-1. The freshman came off the bench at halftime and made an immediate impact, assisting on the tying goal just 52 seconds into the half.
The Porto, Portugal, native then scored his first collegiate goal with less than a minute left in regulation.
Ceslo and the Vikings complete the regular season tomorrow at home against Green Bay with a 2 p.m. kickoff.
