Peleg Armendariz, Men's Soccer
Scored the game-winning goal against St. Bonaventure and Wright State, and now has three goals on the season.
Lincoln Battle/Carl Gedlitschka, Men's Tennis
Finished as runner-up in the Main Doubles Draw at the Horizon League Individual Championship.
Ana Crangle, Cross Country
Led the Vikings with a 36th-place finish at the Joe Piane Invite with a 5K time of 18:24.60.
Laken Voss, Volleyball
Averaged 2.83 kills/set and 3.25 digs/set in three matches this week, including an 11-kill, 19-dig double-double against Wright State.
 
Women's Soccer
-Cleveland State continues league play with a game at Northern Kentucky on Thursday, followed by a home game against Wright State on Sunday.
-Entering the week the trio of Mayra Sesmas, Tanji Sarver and Cortlyn Hefty lead the Vikings with three goals each.
-Hayleigh Lewis leads Cleveland State with 39 total saves on the year.
Men's Soccer
-The Vikings will look to extend their six-game unbeaten streak with a pair of games this week, starting with Bowling Green at home on Tuesday, followed by a league game at Robert Morris on Saturday.
-The Green and White knocked off St. Bonaventure in non-league play, 3-1, before coming from behind in the second half to beat Wright State, 2-1 last week.
-Peleg Armendariz and Jacob Deever each scored a goal in both games, while Josip Rimac had an assist in each as well.
Volleyball
-Cleveland State will hit the road for a weekend series at Green Bay on Friday & Saturday.
-Entering the week, Vayda Delventhal ranks fourth among league players averaging 4.44 digs per set, while Julia Jozefov ranks seventh with a 0.94 blocks per set average.
Cross Country
-The Vikings will have a week off before their final tune-up for the #HLXC championship at the Falcon Invite on Friday, October 17.
-Cleveland State is coming off the Joe Piane Invite, where Ana Crangle led the Green and White with a 36th-place finish in the 5K Gold race with a time of 18:24.6.
-Crangle has been the Vikings top finisher in three of the four competitions this season.
Swim & Dive
-Cleveland State returns to the pool after a month off for the Akron Zips Classic on Friday & Saturday.
-Following the opening competition, Ellie Seiter was named the first  #HLSD Diver of the Week.
Men's Tennis
-Cleveland State will take a week off from competition, returning to the courts for the ITA Midwest Regional October 16-20.
-Last time out, the Vikings participated in the Horizon League Individual Championship, with Lincoln Battle advancing to the quarterfinals of the singles draw and Battle/Carl Gedlitschka finishing as runner-up in the doubles draw.
Women's Tennis
-Cleveland State will host its annual Viking Invitational this weekend, welcoming Ball State, Duquesne and Youngstown State to the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion Friday – Sunday.
-This will be the second tournament of the fall slate for the Vikings after opening the year at the Horizon League Individual Championship.
Golf
-The Vikings will host their annual event this week, welcoming teams to Lakewood Country Club for the Tom Tontimonia Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
-Cleveland State will be one of 12 teams competing, with two rounds set for Monday and the final round set for Tuesday.
