CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Vikings (3-5-4, 0-2-3) concluded their three-game homestand with a 5-0 loss to Milwaukee (8-4-1, 5-0-0) on a home and humid October Saturday afternoon.
Milwaukee opened the scoring in the sixth minute and added goals in the 23rd and 24th minutes to lead 3-0 at halftime.
The Panthers found the back of the net in the 51st and 53rd minutes to defeat the Green and White 5-0.
The Vikings had eight shots in the game, with three on frame. The corner kick margin favored the home team, 6-5.
Tanji Sarver and
Cortlyn Hefty each had two shots in the game.
Hayleigh Lewis played the opening 66 minutes, making five saves before
Elyse Broderick finished the game with two saves.
Cleveland State takes to the road on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. versus Northern Kentucky.
