CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State (3-4-4, 0-1-3) was shutout at home 3-0 by IU Indy (2-8-1, 1-2-0) on Sunday afternoon.
The Jags got on the board in the 31st minute on a through ball and doubled the margin with 26 seconds remaining before halftime. IU Indy tacked on a third goal in the 79th minute to hand the Green and White its first league loss of the year.
The Vikings were outshot 15-3 but held a 5-4 edge in corner kicks.
Mayra Sesmas had a team-best two shots with one on frame.
Hayleigh Lewis made two saves in goal.
Cleveland State will conclude its three-game homestand on Saturday, Oct. 4, against Milwaukee at 1 p.m.
