NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team closed out play at the Horizon League Individual Championship Sunday, with
Lincoln Battle and
Carl Gedlitschka finishing as the Doubles Runner-Up.
Battle and Gedlitschka finished the weekend with a 2-1 record in the doubles draw.
The duo started the final day of play with an 8-6 win over Tennessee State in the semifinals, before dropping an 8-3 decision against a Belmont tandem in the championship match.
This marked the third tournament of the fall campaign for the Vikings, with Cleveland State now having a few weeks off from competition before the ITA Midwest Regional (October 16-20).
