TEMPE, Ariz. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team had five players recognized by the ITA Monday, as
Cole Chappell,
Carl Gedlitschka,
Nico Jamison,
Tristan Stine, and
Andrew Zimcosky were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes of the 2025-26 academic year.
Gedlitschka, one of three graduates on the list for the Vikings, picked up his fourth ITA Scholar-Athlete honor, while Jamison earned the accolade for the third time.
All five players that were honored by the ITA had a 3.60 grade-point average or better for the year, including Stine who posted a 4.0 during his freshman year.
This group combined for seven Dean's List honors during the season.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have a grade-point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year.
