CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will close out the fall campaign this weekend, participating in the Wake Forest Invitational Friday, October 31 through Sunday, November 2.
This will be the third straight year that the Vikings will be participating in the Wake Forest Invitational, playing in the home state of
Lincoln Battle (Raleigh, N.C.) and
Carl Gedlitschka (Greensboro, N.C.).
This will be the sixth and final tournament for the Vikings, closing out a fall season that included doubles final appearances from
Lincoln Battle and
Carl Gedlitschka at the Horizon League Individual Championship and Gedlitschka and
Maxime Aremon at the Viking Invitational, in addition to a quarterfinal showing at the ITA Midwest Regionals from Gedlitschka and Battle.
Last time out, the duo of Gedlitschka and
Devin Boyer each made it to the quarterfinals of the singles draw at the Viking Invitational, while
Tristan Stine,
Andrew Zimcosky and
Maxime Aremon also represented CSU at the annual tournament.
