Cleveland State Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State volleyball head coach Chuck Voss announced the 2024 schedule Tuesday, featuring a 29-match slate, including 12 matches at Woodling Gymnasium.

Cleveland State will begin the season at the UNC Tournament (August 30-September 1), facing Western Carolina, College of Charleston and the host Tarheels throughout the three-day event.

The Vikings will then travel to Akron on Wednesday, September 4, before opening their home slate with a pair of matches against UTRGV (Friday, September 6) and Wyoming (Saturday, September 7) as part of the CSU Invitational.

Next up for Cleveland State will be the Hokie Invitational (September 13-14), where the Vikings will face UNCG, Norfolk State and the host Hokies.

Cleveland State will then close out non-league play by traveling to Kent State on Thursday, September 19 and hosting Akron on Friday, September 20.

New for the 2024 season, Cleveland State will play the same Horizon League opponent on back-to-back days, with the exception of its travel partner – Oakland – who they will play at home on Tuesday, October 1 and on the road on Tuesday, October 29.

The first #HLVB series for the Vikings will come at home against Northern Kentucky (September 27-28), while the first roadtrip in league play will be at Wright State (October 4-5).

Cleveland State will then host back-to-back series against Green Bay (October 11-12) and Purdue Fort Wayne (October 18-19), before returning to the road to take on Robert Morris (October 24-25).

The Vikings will close out a five-match roadswing at IUPUI (November 1-2) to begin the month of November, before hosting Youngstown State (November 8-9) in the final homestand of the regular season.

Cleveland State will close out regular season play at Milwaukee (November 15-16), with the #HLVB Tournament set for Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24.
