Reisma Named #HLWBB Player Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After helping the Cleveland State women's basketball team remain perfect at home this season with a win against Bethune-Cookman last weekend, junior Jordana Reisma has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week. This marks the first weekly honor of the season for Reisma and the sixth weekly accolade of her career.

Last time out, Reisma and the Vikings picked up a 78-59 victory over Bethune-Cookman, improving to 8-2 overall this season and remaining perfect at home with a 5-0 record this year.

Reisma finished with a career-high 25 points against Bethune-Cookman to lead all scorers, going 11-for-13 from the field to mark her second 20-point game of the season. For the year, Reisma currently ranks second among Division I players with a .716 field goal percentage, and is averaging 14.7 points per game.

In addition, Reisma also added seven rebounds and four blocked shots on the game, with the four blocks moving her into a tie for sixth place on the CSU Career Record List with 90 total blocked shots.

For her career, Reisma owns a .580 field goal percentage, which puts her at the top of the CSU Career Record Book.

Cleveland State enters Monday's matchup at Wright State on a six-game win streak, and will be opening its busiest stretch of the season with the first of three games over a six-day span.
