INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The 2022 Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships finished on Saturday evening with the Vikings coming in second place with 678 points. Oakland claimed the championship with 745 points.

Spencer Tussing opened the final night of the championship with an eighth-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle, clocking a 15:50.55.
Cleveland State placed four swimmers in the top eight of the 200-yard backstroke. Timothy Kubacki (1:44.70) led the way as the runner-up with a B-standard, Dominik Niedzialek (1:45.16) came in third, Jackson Nester (1:45.30) took fourth, and Jake Taulbee (1:48.38) placed eighth.
Paddy Johnston finished as the runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle, sprinting to a B-standard time of 43.92.
In the 200-yard breaststroke, Griffin Manning (1:57.76) came in second with a program record and B-standard, and Jack Krusinski (2:01.44) placed fifth.
Bob Lenart claimed the top spot in the B-finals of the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:49.11 and then Bob Fick finished as the runner-up in the championship race with a time of 1:46.16.
In 3m diving, Luke Faulisi came in sixth place with 289.70 points and Trevor Mahoney placed 13th with 240.25 points.
The championship concluded with the 400-yard freestyle relay with the team of Kenny Thomas, Spencer Tussing, Nathen Eberhardt, and Paddy Johnston finishing as the runner-up with a time of 2:58.59.
