INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State finished fifth at the 2026 Horizon League Championship meet with 391 points. Oakland won the title with 904 points, IU Indy was second with 785.5 points, and Youngstown State was third with 494 points.
Noah Greer claimed the tenth spot in the 200-yard backstroke after clocking a 1:46.88, and
Tanner Beck was 15th with a time of 1:50.28. Greer's time was the eighth fastest in program history.
The 100-yard freestyle saw
Daniel Lyngaas place fifth with a time of 43.98. He improved his fifth spot in the record book by .03 seconds.
Joe Parkhurst came in tenth after putting up the ninth fastest time, 44.48.
Jacopo Lanzo (44.87) was 13th, while
Justin Schneider (45.10) and Gabriel Hudgens (45.42) were 15th and 16th.
Tyler Schultze (1:56.92) and
Aidan Florio (1:57.04) were fourth and fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Gorkem Sulun placed tenth with a time of 2:01.12.
In the 200-yard butterfly,
Colton Stoecker came in 15th after registering a time of 1:50.79.
Brock Wallace swam the tenth fastest in program history, 15:49.76, to come in tenth, and
Noah Lang (15:52.77) was right behind in the 1650-yard freestyle.
The championship concluded with a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay as Lyngaas, Parkhurst, Schneider, and Lanzo swam a school record time of 2:55.45 to place fourth.
