CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team continued its three-game homestand Wednesday afternoon, dropping a 67-49 contest against the Niagara Purple Eagles. The Vikings now stand at 1-3 on the season, while Niagara improves to 2-3.

• Ashanti Abshaw led the Vikings with 17 points, while Nicolete Newman added nine points.
• Ashanti Abshaw also had a team-best eight rebounds, while Olivia Voskuhl grabbed seven boards.
• Khayla Livingston tallied a team-high five assists, while Ashanti Abshaw grabbed a team-best four steals.

• Wednesday's game marked the third double-digit scoring performance from Ashanti Abshaw this season.
