HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Cleveland State golf team closed out play at the 2026 Horizon League Championship Monday, paced by
Brody Simms who finished fourth overall, while the Vikings finished seventh as a team.
As a team, the Vikings combined for 13 birdies on the final day, and posted the third lowest round of the field at four-over par as a team.
Simms moved up one spot from Sunday, finishing in solo fourth at one-over par. Simms carded a 72 during the final round, including five birdies, to notch his fifth top-five finish of the season.
Dillon Pendergast moved up six spots from yesterday's standings to finish T-24 at 10-over par. Pendergast's T-24 finish marks his fourth top-25 finish of the year.

Ryan Dinan and
Dominik Cosic all tallied their best rounds of the tournament on Monday, Gibson carding a 72, Dinan posting a 74 and Cosic recording a 78. Gibson finished the weekend T-32 (+12), while Dinan placed T-36 (+15) and Cosic finished 45
th (+25).
