HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Cleveland State golf team opened up its spring slate Monday, playing 36 holes at the Wexford Intercollegiate. After the first two rounds, Cleveland State sits 14^th in the team standings, while Ryan Dinan and Brody Simms are both in the top-25 individually.

After the first two rounds, Dinan paces the Vikings sitting T19 at 3-over par after posting rounds of 73 and 74, while Simms is T25 at 4-over par following rounds of 73 and 75.

Trace Gibson is currently third for the Vikings, sitting T57 at 9-over par, while Dillon Pendergast is T67 (+11) and Dominik Cosic is T71 (+12).

Through the first two rounds the Vikings combined for 17 birdies, including six from Dinan and three each from Simms, Pendergast and Cosic.

The Vikings will close out play at the Wexford Intercollegiate with the final round tomorrow, with a shotgun start set for 8:15 a.m.
