This marks the third straight postseason honor for Simms, while it's the first all-league accolade for Pendergast. Simms also becomes the first Viking to earn the Sportsmanship Award, which was first awarded during the 2024 campaign.

Simms earned his spot on the All-League First Team after finishing fourth at the Horizon League Championship, finishing with a 1-over par total score. The fourth place finish marked Simms' fifth top-five finish of the season.
