The Vikings completed the Fifth Jud Logan Light Giver Open hosted by Ashland with five top-five finishes, with three of those being in the top-three.

The 400-distance relay team of
Kayla Crissman,
Olivia Todd,
Deena Ingrassia, and
Ana Crangle put up a school record time of 12:06.83 to come in second. The previous mark was 12:23.37, which was set at the 2024 Horizon League Championship.

Olivia Todd won the 400-meter with a time of 57.85, becoming the first Viking this season to win an event.

Cleveland State turned in 15 top-ten finishes at the previous Spire Indoor Games.
Natalie Keller paced the Vikings in distance events, winning the 5000 Meter Run with a time of 18:02.79. In sprint events,
Trinity Lamp was the runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles.
