INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced the 2026 Men's Golf Preseason Poll Thursday, with Cleveland State selected to finish fourth.
The Vikings are coming off a runner-up finish at the Horizon League Championships a year ago, and return five letterwinners from that squad including All-League honoree
Brody Simms.
Through the fall campaign, Cleveland State notched a pair of third place team finishes at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate and
Tom Tontimonia Invitational, while Simms and
Dillon Pendergast combined for five top-five individual finishes – including an event win at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational from Simms.
The Vikings will open their spring slate next month, competing at the Wexford Intercollegiate February 16-17.
