Matteo Correia, Men's Soccer
Paced the Viking offense against Canisius, scoring a goal and recording an assist in the 2-2 tie.
Ana Crangle, Cross Country
Recorded her second top-10 finish of the season, placing seventh overall at the Mastodon Alumni Open.
Vayda Delventhal, Volleyball
Recorded three straight 14+ dig matches on the week, averaging 4.70 digs per set throughout the CSU Invitational.
Mayra Sesmas, Women's Soccer
Scored two goals on the week, including the game-winner against St. Bonaventure.
 
Women's Soccer
-Cleveland State concludes non-league play with Senior Day on Sunday, hosting Morehead State.
-The Vikings went 1-1 this past week, highlighted by their second shutout of the year versus St. Bonaventure, 1-0.
-Mayra Sesmas scored two goals on the week and now has a team-best three on the year.
-Elyse Broderick made her first start of the year on Sunday versus the Bonnies, making four saves in the shutout.

Men's Soccer
-The Vikings open Horizon League play on Saturday at Milwaukee.
-Cleveland State went 0-1-1 this past week with a loss to No. 16 Akron on the road before tying Canisius at home, 2-2.
-Matteo Correia and Peleg Armendariz were the goal scorers for the Green and White.

Volleyball
-Cleveland State returns to the road for a trio of matches at the Wolfpack Invitational, facing Coastal Carolina (Friday), NC State (Saturday) and Duke (Sunday).
-Last time out, the Vikings opened their home slate with the CSU Invitational, taking on Akron, American and ETSU.
-Through the first two weeks of the 2025 campaign, Bryn VanVleet leads the Vikings with 2.94 kills per set, while Vayda Delventhal is averaging 4.79 digs per set and Julia Jozefov is averaging 0.81 blocks per set.

Cross Country
-Cleveland State will have a week off before taking part in the All-Ohio Classic on Friday, September 19.
-The Vikings placed third at the Mastodon Alumni Open last time out, the site of the 2025 Horizon League Championship.
-Ana Crangle led the Vikings  with her second top-ten finish of the year, placing seventh with a time of 18:32.2.

Men's Golf
-Cleveland State will open its fall campaign with two events this week, including the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational which runs today and tomorrow.
-The Vikings will also be in action at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate on Saturday and Sunday.
-Cleveland State will take part in five tournaments this fall, including the annual Tom Tontimonia Invitational which the Vikings will host in early October.

Swimming & Diving
-The Vikings open the 2025-26 season at the site of the Horizon League Championships against IU Indy, Milwaukee, and Green Bay on Friday and Saturday.
-Cleveland State will be competing in their second season under Trent Richardson.
