Cleveland State Men's Soccer Chosen Fourth in Preseason Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Cleveland State men's soccer team is slated to finish fourth in the Horizon League preseason poll, as voted on by the league's ten coaches.

Green Bay is picked to win the championship after receiving four first-place votes for 87 total points. Oakland is slotted second with three first-place votes for 86 points, and Robert Morris is third with a first-place vote for 78 points.

The Vikings received 59 total points to come in the fourth spot. Cleveland State will be led by reigning Horizon League Freshman of the Year Matteo Correia and his nine goals and three assists.

Cleveland State opens the 2025 campaign with Santa Clara at home on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m.
