Daniel Bucknavich found out his seed and first-round opponent for the upcoming NCAA Championships.

The 2025 NCAA Championships are at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, starting on Thursday, March 20, and ending on Saturday, March 22.
The action gets underway on Thursday at noon with the first round, and then the second round and consolation first round will be at 7 p.m.
Friday at noon will feature the quarterfinals along with the consolation second & third rounds. The evening session at 8 p.m. is the semifinals and consolation fourth & fifth rounds.
Saturday begins at 11 a.m. with the consolation semifinals and placement matches. The championship for each weight will then occur at 7 p.m.
The first session every day will air on ESPNU with all evening sessions on ESPN.
Daniel Bucknavich – 285 POUNDS
Bucknavich will enter the tournament as the No. 23 seed and will face No. 10 Dayton Pitzer of Pitt in the first round. Pitzer is 11-4 this season and was the winner of the ACC Championship.
Bucknavich earned his second straight automatic qualifier spot after finishing third at the MAC Championships. The senior went 4-1 over the weekend with three falls and a decision in the placement match. This season, Bucknavich is 25-5 overall, including a 9-2 mark in dual matches. Of his wins, three were by major decision and 12 by falls, which ranks eighth in the nation.
