Columbus, OH-The Cleveland State fencing teams competed Saturday on the opening day of the OSU Elite Invitational at Ohio State's French Field House. The Vikings competed in seven dual meet bouts throughout the day.

On the men's side, Sal Sorrentino, Marcus Strugar, Nolan Giovagnoli, Ben Palladino, MJ Qashou, Jack Miller, Trent Chemezov, Conner Bailey and Simon Caisse all collected at least one individual bout victory on the day.

Rayllen Prafil Capaccio, Anna Quinn, Evelyn Malvestuto, Anna Klimenko and Samantha Way all claimed individual victories for the women's team.
